Natalie Bowman
Paralegal/Administrator
Natalie was born and raised in Lodi, California. Despite having severe scoliosis and ultimately spinal fusion at age 15, she was an internationally ranked modern pentathlete and competed in NCAA Division I for Iona University in swimming and track. She’s been privileged to travel for her athletics across the United States, China, Hungary, and Mexico. She continued her love for connecting with other people and cultures by pursuing an International Studies major with Economics and French minors. Following her undergraduate programs, Natalie lived abroad working and volunteering with non-profits in Scotland and Kenya.
After moving back to her hometown to be closer to family, Natalie joined her dad, Mark Bowman, as a paralegal in 2017. Against his best advice, she is now pursuing her law degree from American Institute of Law.
In addition to being the brains behind Bowman Law Practice’s operations and a part-time law student, Natalie is a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for foster youth in San Joaquin County. She considers her kids part of her family and is blessed to be in their lives even after they have “aged out”. In spite of her busy schedule, she continues to lead Partners for International Cooperation (PIC), an all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting other non-profits in the Central Valley and locally-run development projects on the eastern coast of Lake Victoria.
Natalie’s free time is spent gardening with California native flora, rescuing orphaned animals that end up in her yard, and camping with her partner, Kyle. She received her yoga teaching credentials from Joschi Yoga Institute (NYC) in 2016 and Spanish language teaching certificate from Flying Tree Yoga (Medellin, Colombia) in 2019.
Natalie speaks English, French, and some Spanish and Swahili.
